Tatiana is an accomplished tutor currently studying English at the University of St Andrews. Bilingual in English and Italian, Tatiana grew up in Italy and achieved a perfect 45/45 on the IB. Her deep understanding of the rigorous demands and unique challenges of the IB curriculum make her an all rounder. Tatiana also specialises in Languages tutoring – both Spanish and Italian.
Tatiana graduated as the Dux of St. Stephen’s School Rome. She is currently studying English Literature at the University of St Andrews. Of British-Canadian background, Tatiana offers a unique perspective on and respect for international western systems of education as well as a native, cultural understanding of European Languages.

Tatiana embraces a global approach to education, reflecting her diverse international background and personal experience completing the International Baccalaureate (IB). Her teaching philosophy centres on the belief that learning is a multifaceted journey, enriched by cross-cultural perspectives and real-world applications.
Tatiana believes that every student has a unique learning style and potential. They focus on creating personalised learning experiences tailored to each student's needs, strengths, and interests. The cornerstone of Tatiana’s s philosophy is fostering an interactive and collaborative learning environment. She encourages open dialogue, critical thinking, and active participation, ensuring that students feel confident and supported in their learning journey. By integrating practical applications and hands-on activities, Tatiana helps students connect theoretical knowledge with real-world situations.
In addition to academic tutoring, Tatiana mentors students in time management, study skills, and stress management techniques, ensuring a holistic approach to education. Understanding the pressures of the IB program, Tatiana is committed to fostering a balanced and supportive learning environment.
Tatiana grew up in Italy with English and Canadian Parents, making her bilingual in English and Italian. Attending international schools, Tatiana has a unique perspective which combines a cultural understanding of Italian and a respect for western systems of education. She ensured that her Italian remained at a high level by taking extra measures to complete Italian State exams independently of her core English studies at school.Tatiana continued to flourish in an all around approach to education when she decided to tackle the IB program. Earning a perfect score of 45 on the IB, Tatiana enjoyed being able to engage with a wide range of subjects.
Currently, Tatiana is studying to obtain an MA in English Literature from the University of St. Andrew’s. At St Andrews, she has continued to appreciate an interdisciplinary approach to Education, as she takes History modules alongside her core literary studies.
When she is not tutoring, Tatiana engages with various extracurricular activities at the University of St Andrews. In particular, Tatiana’s interest in English Literature has driven her to engage with theatrical pursuits. In her first year of university she not only acted in a production of Macbeth, but contributed to writing for a show of student-written monologues as well as directing a production of Dario Fo’s Accidental Death of an Anarchist. This summer, Tatiana will be performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, having been given a leading role in a student written play about the first women to study medicine at the University of Edinburgh.
