Jaime focalises a holistic approach to course content and texts, encouraging her students to learn beyond the bare minimum required to complete assessments. Her style of tutoring aids in developing the critical thinking skills and the breadth of knowledge required to effectively answer questions independently and achieve exam success.
Jaime both gives regular feedback on individual pieces of work and seeks to develop clear, focused long-term learning goals with her students. She is an encouraging, passionate tutor, who believes in building upon the positive aspects of a student's work whilst also finding new areas for improvement.
Jaime grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, attending Northern Beaches Secondary Campus Manly Selective through to year 9, before receiving a scholarship and moving to Pymble Ladies' College. Jaime flourished at Pymble, balancing her academic interest in humanities with her extra-curricular passion for drama, debating, public speaking and mooting. In her final year in 2019, Jaime acted as Vice-President of the Student Council and graduated as Dux of school. As a result of her exemplary HSC results, Jaime was accepted into her top preference for university, an Arts/Law Double degree at the University of Sydney.
Before university, Jaime spent a year abroad working in Oxford, UK. She immersed herself in several holiday courses designed to expand her legal knowledge, whilst also travelling to visit the many modern and ancient historical sites that she studied during her HSC.
