Drew is passionate about learning and personal development and believes that the best way for an individual to achieve their full academic potential is to enjoy the subjects that they are studying. For this reason, she aims to initiate engaging discussions to make academic work both interesting and fulfilling.
Drew focuses on fostering and developing critical thinking skills, which not only ensures academic success in primary and secondary school but also sets students up well for tertiary studies. To do this, she believes in regular practice assessments and pieces of writing, which she provides extensive feedback on. This allows students to feel prepared and confident before assessment tasks and also consistently develops their critical abilities.
Drew believes that communication with the student, about their goals and challenges, is crucial to allowing each individual to feel comfortable with the tutor, and be proud of their achievements.
