Rose believes each of her students has the capacity to achieve academic excellence through her personalised approach to tutoring. She is committed to fostering skills of critical thinking, sophisticated communication and adaptability in her students so they may fulfil their academic potential.
Rose begins by assessing her students’ strengths and weaknesses in order to implement consistent and focused goals personalised to each student that will expand their academic horizons. Through Rose’s regular and insightful feedback, her students refine and enhance their level of work, enabling them to feel prepared and confident for school assessments.
Rose aims to foster a passion within her students to engage with their academic work, allowing them to develop a clear understanding of key concepts and achieve successful academic results.
Rose grew up on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, attending St John’s Primary School from kindergarten to Year 4. She then moved to England for 3 years with her family, where she studied at Hymers College. Upon return to Sydney, Rose attended Brigidine College St Ives for the entirety of high school. During her time at Brigidine, Rose’s deep passion for learning was enhanced through her study of the humanities, particularly in English.
Rose is currently studying a double degree at the University of Sydney, studying a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in English) and Bachelor of Media and Communications. Here she hopes to gain the skills to pursue a future career in journalism.
Outside of tutoring, Rose enjoys playing social sports, including tennis and horse riding, travelling, and reading (she is especially fond of feminist retellings of Greek mythology).
