Larissa is an encouraging and patient tutor, who works to build confidence within her clients in their respective subjects. She encourages her students to set high goals and strive for achievement beyond their current capabilities. Central to Larissa's approach is the development of a deep understanding of core concepts within the subject matter, ensuring that students build a solid foundation that equips them to tackle complex and thought-provoking problems with success. Larissa tailors her teaching to address the specific weaknesses and learning needs of each student, giving targeted feedback to guide her students on their path to success.
Larissa grew up in the rural town of Tamworth, NSW, completing her education at Calrossy Anglican School. In 2023 she moved away from home to commence study at the University of Sydney. Although Larissa enjoyed a balance of humanities and sciences at highschool, her particular interest in chemistry has lead her to pursue Medicine through the University of Sydney’s Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Medicine Program.
When she has free time, Larissa enjoys staying active by long-distance running or attending dance classes. She also loves to spend time at the beach, ideally with good food and an engaging novel or podcast.
