Zico is a highly distinguished tutor at Premier Tutors, who specialises in all levels of Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. Zico placed 11th in NSW for Biology and is currently studying Medicine at Griffith University. Zico is a tutor who is passionate about the subjects that he tutors and uses this passion to help students achieve their highest possible academic results. He combines his strong academic results, organisational skills and study techniques to provide a highly effective approach to learning science and mathematics.

Zico aims to help his students by creating a program that targets their particular strengths and weaknesses, whilst being thorough and covering all the content required for students to achieve their academic goals and excel in their subjects.
He begins by discussing with students and parents what they want from tutoring and then creates a program tailored to that student’s needs. He understands the importance of developing a rapport with his students to fully understand and cater to their learning style. Through constant feedback and evaluation, the program is tweaked regularly to target the areas where students need improvement.
Zico believes the key to success is practice, so sets regular tasks with his students providing them the opportunity to practice exam style questions that will give them the best chance of maximising their assessment marks. He also encourages students to consolidate their learning through note taking by combining their textbooks, resources given to them and their own knowledge and research to give them the ability to effectively answer all problems that may appear in exams.
Zico was born in Elanora Heights where he lived until 2008 when he moved to Hong Kong and lived there for a year. He then returned in 2009 and began at Masada College where he attended school from pre-school to Year 6, where he was the primary school captain. In 2017 Zico moved to Barker where he attended high school until graduating in 2022 as one of the years strongest academic performers.
When Zico isn’t tutoring, he is a passionate ice hockey player who has played at the club, national and international level, as well as volunteering to coach and referee on weekends. He loves music and enjoys playing the piano by himself and in bands. Zico also enjoys playing social soccer occasionally with his friends.
