Mitchell is enthusiastic about providing students with an in-depth understanding of related subjects - most notably Economics and Mathematics. He places a strong emphasis on gaining a detailed knowledge of content before it is introduced to students at school so that they are able to excel in their interests and talents. He has the aim to ensure that all students can develop a comprehensive understanding of their subjects so that they can achieve exceptional results in their relevant exams.
Mitchell highly values a personable and friendly relationship with his students so that every student is able to gain the most out of their experience. He facilitates an environment for his students so that they feel comfortable asking questions in order to ensure that they can advance their skills. Mitchell also places an emphasis on preparing students for the full scope of a subject and beyond, rather than simply memorising the bare minimum, as is often the case.
Mitchell was born in Sydney and grew up in Pymble. He has attended St Ignatius’ College Riverview since Year 5.
