With extensive experience tutoring, Ben understands the patience and attention to detail required to teach well. Ben takes the time to give specific advice on areas for students to improve, applying his own experience as a student to their studies. By continuing to work on these areas, Ben helps students refine topics they struggle with and truly excel in ones they are comfortable with. He aims to share his enthusiasm for maths and science with students by showing creative approaches to problems and clever applications of theory.
Ben was born in Wahroonga but moved to London, England when he was three, eventually studying at Westminster Under School. Moving back to Australia in 2012, Ben greatly enjoyed leaving the rainy British weather behind. Settling into school in Australia, Ben explored his interests across a wide range of subjects, from Geography to Mathematics to English to History. Come HSC, Ben was faced with a difficult decision between Chemistry and History, reluctant to give up either.
Throughout school, Ben has been involved in numerous extra-curricular activities. An avid public speaker, Ben participated in Debating throughout high school, making the Grammar firsts in 2020. He has also been involved in Soccer, Informatics, and School Choir.
