Ashish is a highly qualified professional tutor with six years of tutoring experience behind him and very impressive academic results. He is known for his ability to teach students efficient exam technique and critical thinking skills. Ashish specialises in teaching Mathematics and Science to all ages. Ashish graduated from Macleans College (School Captain, Dux) with a perfect academic result of 5A* (equivalent to an ATAR of 99.95). He is currently in his final year of Medicine at the University of Sydney, after being accepted into the combined Medicine program (which has an ~30% acceptance rate of only 99.95 applicants).

Ashish is an advocate for learning through understanding and mastering concepts, so that minimal memorisation is required. While content is very important to Ashish, he recognises that there are other important elements to doing well, such as exam technique and time management, and thus approaches tutoring in a holistic manner. Ashish works with students to identify their strengths and address their weakness. From there he creates an action plan with students to maximise sessions and help students achieve their goals.
Ashish grew up in Auckland, New Zealand, attending high school at Macleans College - one of the top schools in New Zealand. While at Macleans, Ashish was a consistent high achiever academically and was a keen sportsman, and knew how to productively manage academics and extracurriculars.
With a strong passion for the sciences and a desire to pursue research, Ashish has gone on to study a Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney. He graduated with a double majoring in Chemistry and Statistics for his undergraduate Science Bachelor component and is currently in his final year of the Doctor of Medicine component.
In addition to tutoring, Ashish is an avid sportsperson and enjoys playing rugby and cricket. In his free time, he enjoys learning learning languages and spending time with friends.
