Alex is a professional HSC tutor devoted to helping students become the best possible versions of themselves. As an all-rounder with superb marks and experience in both humanities and science, Alex has an in-depth understanding of how to maintain balance while achieving excellent results. Alex graduated from Sydney Grammar School with a perfect result; an ATAR of 99.95. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Sydney on the Chancellor's Scholarship (full academic scholarship). This is the most difficult University course to get accepted into in Australia. Only students who achieve a perfect result of 99.95 are considered and approximately 30% of those are successful after an interview.

Alex is an excellent communicator who strives to assist his students to achieve academic excellence by providing focused guidance and steadfast support. He adopts a holistic approach to tutoring, as he believes having an understanding of student's motivation, study habits and goals are critical for a students success. He is always happy to share his own rigorously tried and tested techniques.
While his tutoring approach may differ slightly from student to student, Alex believes staying ahead of the curriculum is of the utmost importance. He is passionate about making sure each student is familiar with the course content before their school covers it, allowing class time to act as a refresher solidifying previous knowledge.
Alex is a dedicated tutor who will go above and beyond in order to meet your child’s needs. He aims to bring out the best in every student, developing a cohesive understanding of the course material so that they can achieve the results they desire.
Alex grew up in Lindfield, Sydney, attending Holy Family Lindfield from Kindergarten until Year 5. He attended St Ignatius’ College from Year 5 to Year 8, however looking for a greater focus on music and academics transitioned to Sydney Grammar for the remainder of high school. Despite his aptitude and avid interest in languages and music, Alex has decided to pursue medicine at Sydney University, one of thirty students selected to study in the 7 year postgraduate program. When not studying, Alex enjoys running, weightlifting and participating in University basketball. He also plays violin in the Sydney University Orchestra and the Kuringau Youth Orchestra, and volunteering with Anglicare Aged Care home.
