Jason is an enthusiastic and experienced tutor who is passionate about helping his students to achieve their absolute best. As an HSC All-rounder, Jason has a thorough understanding of a range of subjects and strong knowledge of the system to answering such questions to maximise HSC performance. Jason graduated from St Aloysius’ College Milson's Point as Dux of the School with an ATAR of 99.90 in 2018. He is currently in his third year of Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of New South Wales.
Jason believes that all students are capable of achieving the highest possible marks as long as they are motivated and work hard to achieve such goals. He aims to help the students to be organised about their academics and nurtures their ability to adapt to difficult questions and be confident in their abilities in order to provide a knowledgeable and original response to any and all questions.
Jason aims to meet the students at their own level and establish a strong foundation in terms of both knowledge and a friendly relationship. From there, he believes the only direction one can progress is upwards toward excellence. He’ll encourage extension wherever possible to ensure the student is well-versed in the curriculum as well as ensuring their basic knowledge of each concept is extremely strong.
Jason grew up in East Lindfield, attending St. Aloysius’ College Milsons Point from Year 4 onwards. He loves his school and it fostered within him a strong sense of self and academic motivation to achieve his best. He credits his school for building a strong sense of faith within him and nurturing a calling for service of which he wishes to fulfil through his career in Medicine and through extra-curricular immersions and service placements.
Jason has been studying Medicine at UNSW for the last three years, where he wishes to graduate and undertake placements overseas in disadvantaged areas. He will hopefully complete a rural placement in 2025.
In addition to tutoring, Jason wishes to involve himself deeply within university life especially through MedSoc and various Clubs and Societies. He plays guitar and piano for leisure. He loves his tennis, ping pong and wishes to try out as many sports as he can socially. He has recently found joy again in reading as well as a heart for good food and travelling.
